Kangaroo design for 2026

The reverse of the coin features two kangaroos leaping across the water. The background shows ripples and splashing water with a mountain landscape in the distance. The secret mark, numbered 40, honours the 40th anniversary of the Australian Nugget series, the first official series of gold coins to be legal tender in Australia. The design includes the inscription "KANGAROO" and the Perth Mint "P", along with the coin's weight, purity and the year 2026. The obverse of the coin features a likeness of His Majesty King Charles III by Dan Thorne and the coin's face value.
